Aaron Hunsaker
Aaron Hunsaker, owner of the Harkness Hotel and Spa, grew up in McCammon, Idaho. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in European Studies and from the University of Cambridge, U.K., with a graduate degree in Jewish-Christian Relations.
He moved to Washington DC to work at the U.S. Holocaust Museum, where he met his future wife, Arianne. Desiring to be closer to family, they purchased the dilapidated McCammon State Bank Building in his hometown of McCammon in 2013 and turned it into the award-winning Harkness Hotel.
Since then, they have restored several other properties in McCammon, including the recently finished Implement Building. Aaron also serves on the McCammon City Council as council president and founded the McCammon Action Council, a non-profit geared towards community engagement, improvement and development.
