Jim Johnston is a native Idahoan. He and his wife, Dr. Karen Johnston, raised their family of eight here in Pocatello. Education is important in their family. Karen is a former teacher and educator for School District #25. Jim received his B.S. in Education from the University of Idaho, a Master’s Degree in Religious Education from Brigham Young University, and completed course work for a D.A. in Government (emphasis state/local government) at Idaho State University before his career as a REALTOR(r). He has successful experience in both real estate and banking.
Angela Wilhelm was born and raised in the Pocatello area and comes from a line of public servants. She received a bachelor’s in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Advertising and Public Relations and a minor in Spanish in 2002 from Idaho State University. In 2013, Wilhelm received a Master’s in Public Administration with an emphasis in State, Local, and Non-Profit Administration from ISU. As a graduate student Angela was able to research political and economic projects that concerned local, regional, and national interests.
She has 14 years of experience in the advertising/marketing field. Throughout her professional career Wilhelm has worked on various marketing projects throughout the community and was involved in the Extreme Makeover Home Edition when it came to Pocatello, ID.
Angela enjoys creating artwork and has had her work featured in the First Friday ART Walk and the Eastern Idaho State Fair. She is an avid outdoors enthusiast and horsewoman. She enjoys outdoor activities such as horseback riding, hiking, and camping.
