CEO and President
John Regetz serves as President and CEO of the Bannock Development Corporation. His work focuses on recruiting new companies, retaining and encouraging the expansion of existing businesses, and developing the workforce in the Pocatello-Chubbuck community.
Regetz has 25 years of experience in economic development and served in communities in South Dakota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and most recently in La Porte County, Indiana. A graduate of the State University of New York – College at Cortland, he continues to stay current in his field through professional development coursework and seminars.
Over the years, Regetz served on a variety of boards, such as the Wisconsin Technology Council, the South Dakota Discovery Center and Aquarium, the Northwest Indiana Forum, and the Regional Development Company. He has been active in numerous community activities and organizations.
John is married to Sue and they enjoy outdoor recreation including fly fishing, cross-country skiing and snow-shoeing. John is also an avid hunter.
Vice President Business Development
Mike has been a longtime Pocatello resident with over 30 years of business experience primarily in the Transportation, Business Consulting and Retail industries. Mike worked over 18 years with Federal Express managing in Boise, Pocatello and Logan, Utah and over 13 years as Executive Director for NS Company, L.L.C. in various Business Consulting capacities. In these roles he collaborated with industries to understand their business models in order to provide business solutions and generate sales. Mike has a BS from Arizona State University in addition to a Private Pilot’s License.
Angela Wilhelm was born and raised in the Pocatello area and comes from a line of public servants. She received a bachelor’s in Mass Communication with an emphasis in Advertising and Public Relations and a minor in Spanish in 2002 from Idaho State University. In 2013, Wilhelm received a Master’s in Public Administration with an emphasis in State, Local, and Non-Profit Administration from I.S.U. As a graduate student Angela was able to research political and economic projects that concerned local, regional and national interests.
She has 14 years of experience in the advertising/marketing field. Throughout her professional career Wilhelm has worked on various marketing projects throughout the community and was involved in the Extreme Makeover Home Edition when it came to Pocatello, ID.
Angela enjoys creating artwork and has had her work featured in the First Friday ART Walk and the Eastern Idaho State Fair. She is an avid outdoors enthusiast and horsewoman. She enjoys outdoor activities such as horseback riding, hiking, and camping.
